Dear players,
it is time. The Ancestor Grove comes to Magoia on Tuesday, August 30th. For this update there will be a short downtime necessary, where Magoia is offline. It will be sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. UTC+2 and will last about 30 minutes.
We are currently working on several bugfixes for Magoia. Several updates are in the queue for that but we need to update the Ancestor Grove first, so that the code is correct and we can proceed working on Magoia.
Look forward to many bugfixes that come with the next updates! Furthermore there will be new plants and higher level Brewery stuff!
The creatures of Magoia love and honor their ancestors. They feel them in the world, that surrounds them, talking to them like a river constantly flowing towards them as if from within their own heart.
To honoer them even more Magoia players can enter a clan and together offer fruits to their ancestors. Only clans with at least 4 members can do so and every member is only allowed to offer fruits to his or her ancestors, once they made at least 4 dragons fly in their Dragon's Cave. (Changes: for 1 day (24 hours) you only need to have 1 dragon let flown in order to enter the Ancestor Grove, so that you can start right away. But after these 1 day, you will again need to have at least 4 dragons let flown in order to enter it.) The Ancestor Trees will start to sing, if you offer your fruits to them, and then you can feel the deep connection deeply within your soul. Hence it is reasonable to join active clans in order to hear your ancestors sing a lot.
There are 4 Ancestor Trees (Fire Tree/ Light Tree/ Wind Tree/ Water Tree) and every one of them contains 4 subsongs. Every time you complete a subsong you will activate a bonus for your whole clan. These bonuses are partially permanent in nature, and partially lasting for a couple of days.
Examples for such bonuses are:
- permanently +1 max energy
- extra yield in all your gardens
- more rewards from your trieb members
- double yield in the Brewery
- double yield of dragon plants in the Cave
- cheaper to remove weeds
To unlock a symbol you will need to collect tree points with you clan. (One symbol is free and doesn't cost any tree points)
-> To start a song, just click on the according symbol and double click your fruits or drag 'n' drop it on the chosen tree.
-> For every offering you will get a songpoint. Every day the fruit costs of the offerings will rise, but not the energy costs. Trees will also have a new affinity every day. This way you will get 3 song points instead of one for moon fruits and the special fruit of the day.
-> You can activate severa bonuses at the same time.
-> If you activate a permanent bonus like +1 max energy and you leave your clan, you will leave your bonus too. But once you join a new clan, you will get it's bonus right away.
-> Some bonuses will be even bigger once the according tree levels up. For example do you get +1 max energy in round 1, +2 in round 2 and even +3 in round 3! The duration of the extra yield will rise in a similar way.
-> There are four symbols per tree. Once you finish the first symbol, you will have to decide if you do number two or three before you go on to number four. This means there are two different ways through your tree up to symbol four.
Once you bring all your trees to level 1, you will be able to activate your Ancestor Dragon. For that you need to let a certain amount of dragons fly and you will get the following bonuses in return:
- faster care-points
- plus 1 dragon plants at return of your dragons
- plus 1 storage for your care points
