Dear Magoians,

For a long time now, the Magoia moderator and supporter team has been very small, and for the English, Polish and Russian game world/domain, there was nobody specific at all. It's time to change this and to start a team!

Here's my question to you:
Have you ever thought about joining the team and taking a step behind the scenes?
Are you willing to spend 1-2 hours a day on average for the work in the team?
Are reliability and discretion a matter of course for you?
Are you of age?
Then let's go! Apply!
But wait a minute...

What can or should you apply for?

There is a number of possible positions you can apply for. Find out which one would be right for you! If you are interested in multiple positions, that's great, too.

Chat moderator - only for US
- You like to chat and you enjoy chatting with others about all kinds of topics.
- Your English skills are at least at level B2
- You can type and react quickly
- You are a relaxed type of person, you don't get upset easily

Forum moderator - only for US
- You are organised and structured
- You are willing to work with the moderation system of the forum software
- Your English skills are at least at level B2
- You can also write longer texts (more than a few sentences) in a structured and comprehensible way

Supporter - for US, PL and RU
- You know the game and its mechanics very well
- You are good at understanding what someone means, even if they can't describe it clearly and unambiguously
- You can explain well (comprehensively, understandably, structured)
- You are willing to carry out first small test actions on your own to verify reported concerns
- You have an analytical mind and can think in a networked way
- Your English skills are at least at level B2
- For PL and RU: your skills in that language are at least at level B2

Of course, you will receive an introduction to the tools and platforms you will be working with.
Chat moderators also go through a training to learn to handle difficult and heated situations.
We use Slack for team communication and Skype for team meetings (usually once a month).

Outside of the regular team, we are also happy to receive your help for specific projects:

FAQ Keeper - only for US
- You know the game like the back of your hand
- You are willing to try out even small details for verification purposes
- You are proficient in basic image editing
- You can explain well (structured, understandable, comprehensive)
- Your English skills are at least at level C1

Event designer - only for US
- You are creative and enjoy preparing and evaluating puzzles or other types of activities
- Ideal, but not essential:You are proficient in basic image editing

What's in it for you?

- Of course, you won't be doing all this "for free" - the team will receive monthly water lilies as compensation/thanks for their efforts. For project-related support, there are water lilies on a situational basis.
- A look behind the scenes - an insight into what goes into developing and running a game.
- Valuable experience - with many team members I have already seen how the training and the activity as a moderator or supporter have also supported personality development.
- Meaningful work for you - personal responsibility and the ability to work in a team go hand in hand in raising your love and enthusiasm for the game to another level.

Your application:
- Name and age
- Servers played, player name, ID
- What position(s)?
- Why are you a good choice?
=> as an email to [email protected]

I'm looking forward to starting this new year with momentum together with you!
Best regards,
Allison
