Can't click on some trees

I am finding that I cannot click on some neighbors' trees even though I have energy and they have the trees friend marked.

That does seem odd. Have you tried clicking on the friends icon at the bottom again just to see if the displayed information remains the same?

Yep I went in and out and it was still friend marked. An hour or so later I reloaded the game and it was no longer friend marked. I've also gotten messages from friends telling me to mark my trees, but to me they are already marked. Maybe there is a limit to how many times trees can be clicked and it's just a graphics hiccup that keeps it marked.

More than once, but not every time. I haven't been able to isolate the problem.

It is still happening intermittently.

I know the solution now. Sorry for the late answer.

The reason why you can not always click your neighbours trees is because it can only be clicked once. If another player has already clicked it you will have to wait for it to be harvested to click it again.

That is just so wrong! Trees should be able to accept clicks from all friends!

Then the game is inconsistent. Some marked trees do not appear marked to visitors when they have been clicked already and some trees like the ones in the screen shots appear marked despite being clicked.
