Gold Plants

Afternoon guys
I had 5 different plants that I was thinking about changing from gold to Pyria. I had all the puzzle pieces I needed (Oops I hadn't looked at them in a while)
So, I harvested them and placed them in my inventory. I then, rearranged my gardens. Then I went to get the 4th gold of each. At this point I have 5 plants, with 4 golds each & everything is OK.
I notice I do not have enough mice to Pyria all 5 today. So I picked 2, changed them & planted them. Still all good
I then went to replant the golds, as I can change them over the next several days.
The game will not allow this. So I can no longer receive the extra harvest from these until I get the mice... or I have to buy lilies, to buy mice, to correct this.
I believe I should be able to replant the golds. Maybe there is a glitch somewhere?
