Trees and plants cost too much

First of all why do the trees cost so much if all the fruits you harvest from them are worth the same thing to your baby dragon.
Plants cost a lot as well I really like the game but it's not much fun when all your doing is trying to make a lot of potions and herbs or save up a lot of water lilies.

It's my understanding that they are still working on the game balance. Plant prices may go down, stay the same, ... or up depending upon what they finally decide.
