since the crystal tree is done giving crystals and lilies from the last event, will it ever give them again? like, at a particular event or special occasion or will those trees only be giving points from now on and just stay in our inventory if we store them?

I do not know at all, we have not been informed of this
but if you want to let it in your garden, it will give you only xp now
