I know this doesn't matter since everyone got the prize anyway, but 5+4=9 is NOT wrong. I don't even know how a 9 being an inverted 6 matters, I didn't turn it upside down! The original equation was 6+4=4. Removing a match from the 6 makes it a 5. Placing that match across the top of the second 4 turns it into a 9. How can that be wrong?

Cikala, I think I know what she is talking about.

The type style is a square one with the piece across the top for the 6, that is made up of 6 matches. As 9 is the flip of six it would need to have an extra match to go along the bottom of the 4 as well as the one you put along the top. So it would only have 5 pieces not the 6 needed for it to be a 9.

I get what you are both saying. And I can agree with both of you. But, imo, a 9 is a nine = a 9. LOL
So digital 9, or not, 5+4=9 and would still be correct... no one said you had to stay in type format - the ONLY rule was: You can ONLY move one match!
NOT that any of it matters ONE LITTLE IOTA!! LOL

when I see all these debates for a simple game, I tell myself that I have only two solutions left ...
Either I make 2 pages of rules for each game, or I stop making games with pictures ... what do you prefer?
Which is a shame, because I had a lot of games in preparation for you ..

I hope you continue with these type of games Aramina. It is also acceptable for the players to have an opinion about the game they played. I am just glad that everyone received a gift.

You're absolutely right, obviously the players have their opinions, and thankfully, but I admit that I would have preferred that they agree when I tell them they're wrong, (I'm the one who makes the game, I know what I say it seems to me) instead of wanting to demonstrate that I am wrong.

I had, personally, only two solutions to this game, I was pleased to see that a person found a third solution, and I would have loved that the fourth proposal can fix the equation too, but it is not the case, I'm sorry..
