If one has Moon Plants in their Inventory before the next Full Moon Event, will they lose them when it starts or ends? Or will they be able to use them for the event?

mine went back to 2

all moonplants will be taken out of the inventory bevor the start of the next moonevent. Just 2 plants are left. So all players have the same start.
