So today, the Garden Championship had 10 minutes left. I came back later and its restarted. Did they plan an extension and not mention it?

The championship is still going on, this is the second week in a row. It should last only one week and after that we should have our bonus yield in place for some fields. Please repair it again

I think this was caused by the Time change. The developers already know about it and will try to prevent this from happening.
