Christmas event start

The starting date is 18th of December, but the starting hour is 10 a.m. UTC/GMT or does it have another reference meridian? I am asking about it because it's not always clear - and some events started later than the (supposed UTC) time announced. Thank you.

according to my information, it'll be 10 a.m. UTC. I just really hope it does indeed start in that time too.

The new plants showed up at about 10 am CET, but the event site doesn't show any new event, to know how many plants are needed for the Crystal Tree.
