As of right now, there is no way to know if someone has posted a message on the clan board without clicking on the totem pole. Having a speech bubble icon appear on the totem pole when new messages are posted would be lovely!

there is a little notification but it's a bit hidden ;)

The totem is flashing a bit if someone has written something.
