I listen to everything, but Jethro Tull is to rock for me. Esethielle, there was a useful advertisement for Grammarly, which will help me use English grammar better. Thank you.

Such a beautiful voice. So very saddened to hear of her passing. A great loss to music.

I... can't say I have a favorite kind cause well I simply love music, I love melody and rhythm I love most sounds, its just great! be it classic, rock, pop, electric, contry, indie, soul, church music, celtic! or foreign as in a language in which I won't understand a word of, etc.. :D it may even just be the sound of rain, or a forest or a couple of old ladys gossiping about eveyday life good naturely, I love it all. Sure sometimes I want quite, but not really cause usually for me that just means I want less volume, like sometimes I just want to drown everything out with really reallllyyy loud music, and yes just cause I like every type it doesn't mean I like every single song in that certain category, but I guarentee I like atleast 10 songs in that genre :D I think that if I ever go deaf I might go alittle insane... but just a bit cause I could always replace sound with vibrations those are very soothing aswell :D

What a wonderful way to explain your love of sound AnnHearts. Apart from music I think 2 of my favourite sounds are that of rain falling on the roof and a baby laughing.

Hi I love all types of music, 1960's, 70's and 80's, I even have a 1950's album :) I grew up listening to Elvis Presley, Lulu, Irish rebel songs and pipe bands to name a few. I became a punk rocker for a little while safety pins, zips and rips in tops and trousers along with hair which was streaked green, and yellow my mother had a fit :D alas it was just a phase till I discovered Roxy music, Bryan Ferry ruled lol.
These days Meatloaf, Jim Steinman, Moody Blues, Patsy Cline, ElO, and Queen are just some that I share with my neighbours even Johan Strauss from time to time but (mainly Meatloaf) usually with me singing along :D
