my town is very famous for "Handkäs* with Music (*Special cheese) and apple vine

The state that I moved to 2 be with my grandkids is rather famous for the corruption (Governors jailed)
It's on Lake Michigan.
People are moving out in droves to be in warmer, more business friendly states.

My state bird is the cardinal, State capitol is Richmond, my town is in the Blueridge Mountains

The city I live in is a small agricultural area.
There are no stop lights, there is a post office, a school and a fire station.
There used to be a bar.
There is also a recreational area called Willard Bay.
I love living here!!

Washington is known for it's rainy days. Not downpours but steady soaking rain and overcast skies.

Vancouver is on the Columbia river and is affected by strong winds blowing down the gorge, at times very. strong. winds.

you can see Mount ST Hellens that infamously blew it's top in 1980.

My town is in the surround by national forest.
We have many campers come through ever year.
Live in fear of forest fires, most of which could of been prevented if people would learn or at least care.

One of its borders is the Atlantic Ocean.
The Appalachians runs through part of it.

I live on an acreage a little ways out from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Edmonton is the capital city of Alberta
This morning we have -40C wind chills happening.

I live in a little town called Talent, Oregon USA

There was debate of its name as the founder was John Wagner (who wanted to call it Wagner) and the person who incorporated into a town was name A.P. Tallent. It was founded in 1852 but became an actual town in 1910

We have a harvest festival every year with parade and everyone from our little town of just over 6000 comes out for it.

We have lots of things to do, a variety of places to eat, coffee houses and even a few bars. We have a theater which puts on plays year around. There is two regular parks, a skate park and even a dog park. All in our little town. It awesome
