I've never given much thought to 'favorite names'. I suppose I've liked the more uncommon ones like 'Maeve' and 'Aurora' for girls; 'Ash' for a boy.

I really don't have a favorite girls or boys names, as I worked in child care for ten years and heard lots of really great names.

But I will tell you that I chose my names for my kids
Daughter Maryann was named after my husband and I's favorite TV show Gilligan's Island
Son Walter who was named after his grandfather in tradition like his father who was named after his grandfather
