I have an artificial tree but it looks quite realistic !!!
It is about 2meters tall, lots of dark green branches. I decorate it with only gold baubles, ornaments, strings of gold beads & gold bows & a gold star on top.. Then lots of small twinkling gold lights. Takes me hours to decorate my tree as it has to be perfect ( to me ) & I wont let anyone help !!!!  (sorry i dont have a picture)

Since food plays a large part in the culture where I live.
Ideally, the tree should be relatively easy to set up and take down.
Preferably doesn't overly destroy the environment in the process.
So it will probably along the lines of something like this:

I fully agree with Fluffdragon. There is no more soulful than when you go out into nature and watch it there.

Gosh a rough one, hmmm I think I like when our Christmas tree is decorated with hand made toys, even though it is sometimes embarrassing a toy that was made when I was a little kid but also nostalgic and proud because Yes I made it and it is on the Tree :) can't post a photo 'cos the tree isn't decorated yet lol
