Jesus birthday.. then family and my love for them

Family, warmth, happiness, tenderness, joy, peace, smiles, stars (we have a traditions to always (if it is good weather lol) go outside at night on the bridge and gaze at the stars).

my childhood. i converted to Judaism in my 20s, but Christmas still gives me a very warm nostalgia.... flying north to visit my grandparents, playing with my cousins, opening presents in front of a fire, sledding down the giant hill in the cow pasture, feeling like i belonged.
i don't celebrate it now, but i do love seeing the excitement in people's faces that do. it makes me smile!
