The first words that come to my mind when I think of Christmas Celebration are: Family and Midnight Mass. I learned years ago that even if you don't have a lot to give, if you can spend it with those who love you than it's a wonderful time. For me that would be my family. It was our tradition to go to Midnight Mass every Christmas Eve to celebrate to joy of Christmas and the birth of our savoir.

When I think of Christmas, I think of family, love, warmth, laughter, joy, cheerfulness, bright lights, fire and common time, which is given to me and time together, which I can give.

First thing in my mind is the Nativity scene, this little baby has changed the world, making all of us better persons.
Then I am thinking of my family, hoping they will join us to celebrate together, it's a moment of joy. And hard work to prepare the food for the feast :D .
We have traditional meals for this time (I will mention some of them in Romanian): Cozonac, sarmale, toba, leber, caltabosi, sorici, sausages, pork steak, cookies. The pork is traditionally the main star on the table :) It takes sometimes a few days to be ready on time with all of them.
And I also think of presents - everybody must have something under the Christmas tree, to feel even more that someone cares for them :)

Nice! :)
The First things that come to me when I think of Christmas Celebration are:

1- good food (cooked by mamas, grandmas, or well-intentioned friends! LOL)
2- Great christmas crescents, & one other traditional syrupy sweet we call Melomakarono
3- Warmth, literal, & metaphorical wherever I'm invited for X'mas Dinner, which actually takes place at a late lunch hour
4- the (hopefully) great friends-parties usually on X'mas Eve (that's why X'mas Dinner comes late - everybody is sleeping in the early hours of the day)
5- Warmth, Food + Delicacies, Laughter, Good relaxing Times (hopefully)!

:)
