A common goal, a community effort

The World Tree needs a certain number of buds to blossom. This amount depends on the average of daily active Magoians in the days before the start of the event. All players help together to collect buds for this common goal. This is achieved by completing tasks.
With each completed task you will contribute one bud.

This event is not about competition between you. The focus is on working together as a community, which is why there are no rankings for the event.
If you are actively playing, you will be able to complete the tasks "on the side" with little effort, while pursuing your current other game goals.

In this event, it is your participation "effort" that counts. Bonuses from element points, upgraded gardens, season pass or growing time reduction from moon mice have no influence, because what counts is the ACTUAL growing time of the plants in the gardens rather than harvesting a certain amount of plants.
The only benefit of these bonuses and reductions is that you have more crops to use for your regular game objectives.

Schedule of the event

The event spans 9 days (=9 x 24h).
The first 7 days are the phase in which you have time to collect the necessary number of buds. If you succeed, the reward phase will start, which will last until the end of the ninth day (i.e. lasting for at least 48 hours in any case).
If you succeed in getting the world tree to blossom earlier, the reward phase begins at that moment and therefore it will last longer.

The start is at 6 pm server time (star world: corresponding to German time - UTC+1) - new tasks are set every day at 6 pm - and it also ends at 6 pm.

In the progress bar of the event menu, the golden pointer tells you how much time has already passed from the event - the coloured filling shows the progress of the buds. This way you can directly compare how promising your community effort is. Remember that collecting buds will not progress as evenly as time does ;)

The daily tasks

Every day at 6pm at the start of day 1 through day 7, the World Tree asks for two new elements. At this time, all players receive these elements as new free tasks, regardless of the status of the previous day's tasks. If a task is not yet completed, it expires.
The required elements apply equally to all players for 24 hours.
If, for example, water and fire are chosen, each player has these two elements as daily tasks.

The requirement for each player depends solely on the number of garden tiles that are available. Someone who has only a few garden tiles available receives a lower requirement than someone with a lot of garden space.
The two tasks together always require the same amount of real time effort (for the duration of the event as well as for all players). All players are therefore on an equal footing here.
Depending on the needs of the world tree, the tasks can have a weighting between 40%/60% and 60%/40% - this weighting is also the same for all players.

Once the necessary time has been spent, a task can be completed. By doing so, you collect a bud for the world tree and also for your own event level. At the same time, a new round of this type of task is started.
You can buy individual repeat tasks to collect more buds once you have completed both free tasks that day.
Example: The elements water and fire are needed. You first plant all your gardens with water plants until the task is completed and finish it. You can only buy/activate another water task after you have also completed the fire task once.

If a task is completed, the event recalculates the number of garden tiles at that moment and adjusts the scope of the subsequent task if necessary. From this moment on, the time required for the follow-up task is already taken into account - you can therefore simply buy a repeat task when you know that you will also be able complete it.

This is how it pays off for you

With the buds you collect, you not only contribute to the overall goal, you also advance in your personal event level.
Similar to the Garden Championship, there are rewards for reaching a level:
Direct reward - an attractive brewery product that you receive immediately for your efforts.
Collective reward - a reward currency chosen for this event that you accumulate. It is only paid out if the overall goal is reached and the community has collected enough buds for the world tree to blossom.

The following applies to the Star World: the collection reward is paid out on the home worlds after the end of the Star World!

Necessary buds for reaching the levels:
Level 1 - 1 bud (total 1)
Level 2 - 2 buds (total 3)
Level 3 - 3 buds (total 6)
Level 4 - 4 buds (total 10)
Level 5 - 5 buds (total 15)
Further levels - 5 buds each

Everybody's reward for the collective success

As soon as enough buds have been collected, the world tree will blossom!
All tasks still in progress are cancelled, you can't collect any more buds.

From this moment on, the reward phase begins:
  • The tribal trees join the world tree blossom in a special colour for 72 hours, so you can actually see it!
Tribal trees that are affected by the shadow are shown as withered, after healing you can choose whether you want to see the world tree flower colour or one of the usual trunk tree flowers.
  • More yield applies immediately to all players of this game world until the specified end of this phase (9 days after the start of the event). So the earlier the world tree flowers, the longer the extra yield of the reward phase will run.
  • The collective reward is distributed (on the star world: earmarked for distribution on the regular worlds after the end of the star world).
Depending on when you succeed in making the world tree blossom, there is a bonus on the collection reward:
Day 7 - no bonus, exactly the amount collected is paid out.
Day 6 - +20% on your collected amount
    Day 5 - +40
    Day 4 - +60
