In order to ennoble a certain plant, you need puzzle pieces.
There are several ways to get puzzle pieces.

For example, at the moon event you can get Unipuzzle pieces, which are then collected separately.
And, when healing trees, you can always assign the puzzle pieces to the specific plant that you want to ennoble.

If you have received some puzzle-pieces for a plant, you can see this in your inventory by clicking on the small puzzle piece in the upper bar.

Then you can move back and forth in the inventory with the two green arrows and choose the plant you want to ennoble.

The prerequisite is that you have already unlocked all four elements (water, light, fire and air) of this plant.

One more Element needs to be opened as shown in the photo below, and then the plant can be unlocked.

Now you need to select the desired plant and see that in this case more than the required 10 puzzle pieces have been collected by your tree healing, and your plant is available for ennobling.

Without a bonus from the ancestral grove you need 10 puzzle pieces for each ennoblement into a gold plant.

If the assigned puzzle pieces are not sufficient, you can also replace the missing puzzle pieces with Unipuzzle pieces.
And if necessary, add water lilies.

To further refine a gold plant, you need the following:

10 puzzle pieces = 1 Gold plant
40 puzzle pieces = 4 Gold plants = 1 Pyria plant
160 puzzle pieces = 16 Gold plants = 4 Pyria-plants = 1 Tulya plant
640 puzzle pieces = 64 Gold plants = 16 Pyria-plants = 4 Tulya-plants = 1 Lulya plant

If there is already a gold plant in your inventory, you can use the green arrow on the outer right to exchange other gold plants for existing puzzle pieces.

With an ennoblement bonus from the ancestral grove, both the required puzzle pieces and the costs with moon mice are reduced to half.
