4th of July is our national holiday
Veteran's Day, to me very important, since one of my sons is a veteran of the Sandbox Wars
Thanksgiving, IMHO this day should be celebrated worldwide, day or month does not matter, but a day where we reflect on all the good in our lives

Veteran's Day-a day to honor those who have faithfully served this country in the military
Memorial Day-this is a day to remember, with reverence, those in the military who died in the line of duty serving their country. it was originally begun as Armistice Day, honoring those who died in WWI but was changed many years later to encompass all who perish in service to our country.
Thanksgiving-a day put aside to be thankful for a good harvest. this holiday is celebrated in other countries as well.
Mother's Day-a day not only in the USA, but around the world, set aside to honor mother's ... their contributions to society, familial duties, and maternal bonds....Father's Day is also celebrated.
