The Ancestor Grove. This is where the clan gets the bonuses like 1 extra yield, 20% of the cost of removing monsters, 100% bracelets etc. There are 4 trees (red, green, blue and yellow)and each tree has 4 circles. We have to get each tree to the same level and then the dragons we all send out get added together for another bonus of extra dragon plants, 10% speed up on the care of growing plants in your gardens etc. You can go in daily and click on a fruit (always wait till you can use the fruit that has a X3 next to it as that will be 3 points and all the others are only 1 point (so that would be a waste of your fruit). Your Chief will open up a tree circle when needed. To find out which tree is going just click on one of the four circles in each of the four trees and you will find the one that is active. When the tree limit is reached a bonus is then ready for the clan. When a bonus is active you will see a yellow symbol above the waterfall.

The bottom line is that everything comes back to sending dragons out. If you have a choice of growing/sending a dragon out or feeding the Ancestor Grove it is ALWAYS the dragons first. Dragons help us level up in the grove (this can be a lot of dragons), dragons help us grow as a clan, dragons give us brilliant experience points so we get higher up the list as an individual, dragons also supply us with dragon plants which are an absolute necessity to be able to open up new plants and new items in the brewery. So I guess the bottom line is dragon, dragons, dragons and guess what - MORE DRAGONS :)

Thank you for clarifying the situation, especially to take away some of the fog regarding the Ancestor/Dragon part, which feels to be obscured!
Take care! :)
Just saying!
