I too live in the Evergreen State part of the great Pacific Northwest. We are known for our apples, cherries and of course Walla Walla sweet onions. We also have many vineyards and grow lots of hops. Many large breweries were a part of our history. Another popular beverage we're known for is Starbuck's coffee ( we even have a Starbuck's inside my church ). We are home to Microsoft, Boeing and Amazon. Besides farming we are known for our timber and commercial fishing industry. Where I live we have a very diverse population any nationality would feel at home here. We also have a very large military population. I wake up to beautiful Mt. Rainier and can be to a lake , river or Puget Sound (salt water) in minutes. We are the City of Destiny, home to the Chihuly Glass museum,Port of Tacoma and Ruston Way (most walkable city), and Galloping Gertie the Narrows bridge . Come to visit and stay for a lifetime :D

Paducah is the Quilting Capital of the World! We have a floodwall downtown with over 50 handpainted murals that depict the history of Paducah.

I live close to Land Between the Lakes, or LBL. There are historic sites, churches and cemeteries at the end of many little dirt roads. We like to go fishing and camping there. It is very hilly, and the road, called The Trace, goes clear down into Tennessee.

The state i live in has the century-old, Pike Place Market
in the city I live in It is illegal to harass Bigfoot, or any Sasquatch or undiscovered subspecies for that matter. Violations are punishable by a fine or even imprisonment.
Also in my city, planted in 1826, Vancouver has the reputed oldest apple tree in the Northwest. It has been called the “great grandfather” of the apple industry and it has its own festival every fall.

Ummmm not much to say I guess umm what I can say is that my town is very lazy like comercial time opens at 8 or 9am depending on what it is and closes (again depending on what it is) from 7 to 9pm unless it's like the super market then it closes at midnight and thats on week days if its saturday or sunday some don't open others open till noon or till 3pm
Also we have:
34 super markets
46 drugstores
4 NightClub's
64 bars( one.... one! with karoke)
many... many resturants but only two japanese and one italian
25 hotel/house things to stay for a price
we are close to many beaches and lagoons, the best beaches are 1 and half to 3 hours away by car, the lagoon is from my house at a 30 to 40 minutes walking distance( but its polluted so yeah...) also like there is a waterfall like 3 to 4 hours drive from here (its just really hard to get to it by car when you get close....)
it has an area of 633,8 km² and a population of 76.872(google info)
huh.... so there was much to say.....

My state has two peninsula's.
It is the only place you can hold up your right hand and point to where you live.
It is known as the car capitol of the world.
