My state is known as the Keystone State
It's one of the original 13 founding states of the U.S.
It has 51 miles of coastline along Lake Erie (which means lots of beaches

)

1) The town of Bluefield is split into two states...Virginia and West Virginia
2) Virginia was split into Virginia and West Virginia because the north western region didn't want to secede from the United States during the Civil War.
3) Out of the first 5 Presidents of the United States, 4 of them were from Virginia.

I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. Known to the rest of the country as Winterpeg, it was -39 °C today, although if you were out of the wind it wasn't too bad (I've been living here far too long) . Its located at the junction of the Red and Assiniboine Rivers and we have one of the longest outdoor skating rink.

My town is the town (Marceline, Missouri) that Cartoonist Walt Disney lived in when he came up with the character "Mickey Mouse".
