Koala

The koala (Phascolarctos cinereus, or, inaccurately, koala bear[a]) is an arboreal herbivorous marsupial native to Australia. It is the only extant representative of the family Phascolarctidae and its closest living relatives are the wombats. The koala is found in coastal areas of the mainland's eastern and southern regions, inhabiting Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia.
Koalas typically inhabit open eucalypt woodlands, and the leaves of these trees make up most of their diet. Because this eucalypt diet has limited nutritional and caloric content, koalas are largely sedentary and sleep up to 20 hours a day.

Liger
The liger is a hybrid offspring of a male lion (Panthera leo) and a female tiger (Panthera tigris). The liger has parents in the same genus but of different species. The liger is distinct from the similar hybrid tigon, and is the largest of all known extant felines. They enjoy swimming, which is a characteristic of tigers, and are very sociable like lions. Notably, ligers typically grow larger than either parent species, unlike tigons

Mice
They live all over and are very prolific. Mice are rodents and have very sharp teeth. they can gnaw through
sheetrock and wood and some plastics. They can invade your place with a vengence if they have an increase in
food for them to eat. They are in all colors and sizes. The prettiest I have seen are the woodland mice. They are
brown and white colored. They have intelligent looking eyes and live outside, or in grain and hay barns. I had
used a live trap and caught a female. She was taken to school to show my science teacher that the trap worked,
but that same night she gave birth to two blind little mice. We kept her for a few days until the babies were big
enough to turn loose with her. But the little grey black mice look greasy and they are usually the ones that get
into your house and eat through walls and insulation and get all over your house. Those are the ones I like to
think of as food for the bigger animals and reptiles. They are not in any way nice. But mice in general are
not good because they can carry bugs and diseases. Hanta Virus is one that can be spread, also ticks and fleas
are spread by them. I long to see the snakes, cats, and owls that will get rid of these pest.

Q is for Quails...
Quails are medium-sized birds in the dove or pheasant family. A few of these species include: Japanese Quail, New Zealand Quail, The golden state Quails, Chinese Painted Quail, Stubble Quail, Rain Quail, Forest Shrub Quail, and Scaled Quail. Many types occupy deserts, woodlands, forests as well as hedges. Though efficient in flying, many quails don’t fly and run instead. They make their nests in the ground that might hold 7 to fourteen eggs.

R is for Reindeer

The reindeer (Rangifer tarandus), also known as the caribou in North America, is a species of deer with circumpolar distribution, native to Arctic, sub-Arctic, tundra, boreal and mountainous regions of northern Europe, Siberia and North America. Tormenting insects keep caribou on the move searching for windy areas like hilltops and mountain ridges, rock reefs, lakeshore and forest openings, or snow patches that offer respite from the buzzing horde. Gathering in large herds is another strategy that caribou use to block insects.
